2006-07 Season: Started all year at 197, finishing 35-9 (10-1 in duals) with six falls and four technical falls...fastest fall was in just 24 seconds…went 0-2 at NCAA National Tournament…placed third at NCAA North Region Tournament…won Kaufman-Brand Open (Elite Division), UNK and Brand Opens…second at Nichols, UNI and season-opening Daktronics Opens…went 4-0 at NWCA National Duals to help Mavs finish second…named UNO Wrestler of the Week 11 times…UNO OOOSSS Award winner five times during season…North Central Conference Wrestler of the Week for his performance at Kaufman-Brand Open…UNO Ironman Award winner…Dr. Todd Hendrickson Award winner…UNO Platinum Award winner for his 35 victories…named to Amateur Wrestling News All-Rookie Team regardless of division…only one of two Division II wrestlers on the All-Rookie Team.

2005-06 Season: Wrestled unattached and went 21-3…won the Daktronics, Nichols and Kaufman-Brand Open (20 and under) Opens…placed second at UNK Open and fourth at UNI Open…won team’s outstanding redshirt award…named UNO wrestler of the week five times and UNO OOOSSS award three times.

High School: Three-time placewinner in Kansas State Tournament…won state championship as a junior…finished second as a senior…placed fourth as a sophomore…finished his senior year with 33-2 record and a school record 27 pins while wrestling at 215 pounds…compiled a 117-27 four-year high school record…earned All-American honors by placing fifth at Senior Nationals.
