Women's Soccer Adds Transfer Dineen to 2017 Roster

Omaha Athletics | May 18, 2017

OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha head women's soccer coach Tim Walters announced the addition of transfer Susie Dineen to the team's roster.

“Susie comes from a great environment with Coach Mott at Ole Miss, as well as with Marcus Kelcher at EGA,” said Walters.  “She's a confident ball playing center back who can easily step into the midfield. She has a great soccer mind and reads the game exceptionally well in the back.   I'm looking forward to her coming in and adding to our team right away.”

Dineen played her first two college seasons at Ole Miss.  During her career, she appeared in four matches for the Rebels.

A standout for Omaha Marian during her high school career, Dineen helped lead the Crusaders to a pair of Nebraska High School state championships and was a two-time all-state selection.

She competed with the Elite Girls Academy U18 Maroon and helped her squad finish as four-time state cup champions.

Dineen will have two years of eligibility remaining and is eligible to compete for the Mavericks starting in the 2017 season.
