Brady Signs With Rochester of AHL

OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha senior defenseman Ian Brady has signed an amateur try-out contract with the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League, the team announced today.

Brady recently completed his eligibility with the Mavericks.  In 32 games during his senior season, he scored three goals and added 18 assists for 21 points to tie his career high for points in a season.  The native of Lombard, Ill. finished second in scoring among UNO defensemen, and he tied for sixth in scoring among all NCHC blue liners.

Brady finished his UNO career with 136 games played, scoring 15 goals and 62 assists for 77 points.  He ranks third in career defenseman scoring and is tied with Andrej Sustr for fourth in career goals by a UNO defenseman.

The Americans are in action with three games in three days beginning Friday, March 24 against Springfield.
