OMAHA, Neb. – Freshman Hylan Miller was named Summit League Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her performance the week of April 7-13, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Miller earned her first career honor after winning all three singles and double matches during the week. The award marked the first weekly conference accolade for an Omaha women's tennis player as a member of The Summit League.

Playing the No. 2 singles position, Miller won all three matches in straight sets, including a league victory over South Dakota’s Milica Pavlovic (6-3, 6-3) in a 5-2 Maverick win. She posted wins against Bradley’s Ashley Thai (6-4, 6-4), in a 4-3 Omaha victory, and Creighton’s Analese Snyder (6-1, 6-2). At No. 2 doubles, Miller paired with fellow freshman Kenzie Hill for wins over Bradley (8-6), Creighton (8-7) and South Dakota (8-5).
