Thurman Selected Summit League Player of the Week

OMAHA, Neb. -- Junior forward Tre'Shawn Thurman was named Summit League Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his performance Nov. 28 - Dec. 4, the conference office announced Monday.

Thurman nabbed his first career player of the week honor after averaging 17.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game last week. The Omaha, Neb., native helped the Mavericks go 2-0 on the road, registering wins at Cal State Fullerton and Iowa. Thurman totaled 17 points, nine rebounds and three steals while shooting .636 against the Hawkeyes, as well as 17 points and 12 boards with a steal and a block at CSUF.
