Mavs Take Care of Business; Keep Focus on Big Picture

The Mavericks made quick work of their first round competition and they have all 10 of their wrestlers primed to score big points for UNO. In first place after session one, UNO leads all schools with 10 championship bracket qualifiers and a combined team score of 20.0 points. The team recorded four wins by falls, with two pins coming in less than one minute.

All 10 Mavericks Advance to Quarterfinals

OMAHA, Neb. - Every UNO wrestler that took part in Session I advanced to the quarterfinals today in the 2010 Divison II Wrestling Championship at the Sapp Fieldhouse. All 10 will wrestle tonight when Session II gets under way at 6 p.m. at Sapp Fieldhouse.

Broadhurst Shoots To Get Mavs Back To "The Joe"

OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO hockey team begins its second round CCHA Playoff series at Ferris State University tonight at 6:05 p.m. at Ewigleben Ice Arena in Big Rapids, Mich. The winner of the best-of-three series will advance to Joe Louis Arena in Detroit for the CCHA Semifinals. UNO freshman Terry Broadhurst has been a key weapon in the Mavericks' arsenal as they look to return to "The Joe" for the first time in five years.
